Soccer legend Pele will be questioned by Brazilian police investigating a possible fraud and money laundering case involving Norwegian and Brazilian suspects.
According to Tribuna do Norte (our reporting might have slashdotted the page) police in Natal will conduct the interview with Pele shortly.
Irish Times quotes Pele on his investment in a local development project, King' s Flat, which consists of 32 apartments in Natal. They are situated next door to the apartment complex Blue Marlin. These apartments are owned by Norwegian a businessman who was arrested in co-ordinated police raids in Norway and Brazil Wednesday.
The King's Flat development was also subject to police search in Natal yesterday, my paper Dagbladet.no reports today (in Norwegian).
